Summoner Spells That Fit

The reasoning for each is on the summoner spells page. You may only bring one per match, and the best choice shifts with the enemy draft.

Saint holds the highest Magical Attack in red at +5.3; Nightmare trades some of that for early penetration.

Counters & Synergies

Countered-by and synergy picks are this site's own reading, based on each hero's kit. What the official app publishes is how often heroes are picked together (see "Frequently Paired With" below); it does not publish any rating of how well they match up.

The figures are the "match rate" published by the official in-game HoK Camp: how often these heroes ended up on the same team (fetched 2026-08-14). It is not a win rate, so a higher number does not mean a stronger pairing.

Strategy Guide

Playstyle

A dark mage attended by auto-attacking shadow claws, weakening enemies through her draining link. Her ultimate phases her out of existence entirely, buying a reset near the frontline.

Best for: Players who like layering summon pressure over personal pressure — with an untouchable ultimate as the safety line.

Recommended Combos
Win the Tether
Skill 2 (link, steal attack) → enhanced Basic Attack → Skill 1 → Skill 1 (recast to descend)

The tether lasts up to 4s. Every 0.5s it steals 10 Physical Attack and 30 Magical Attack while chipping and healing at the same time. Hold it the full 4s and a shadow servant joins her. It breaks past 1,000 units, so recast Skill 1 to close the gap the moment they back away.

Hold the Immunity
Skill 3 (2s in shadow, all debuffs removed) → Skill 1 → Skill 1 (recast)

Two seconds in shadow nullify all effects and clear the debuffs already on Mi Yue. That makes it a reaction, not an opener — save it for the enemy's big move. Damage of 380 (Lvl 1) lands both when she vanishes and when she returns, and a hit on the return summons a servant. Recast Skill 1 afterwards to leave on your own terms.

These combos are not official data. They are this site's own write-up, built only from the skill data transcribed from the in-game display; nothing that the skill text does not state is included.

Strengths
  • Skill 2 drains enemy attack, and with shadow servant healing she's a top-tier duelist
  • Ultimate's 2 seconds of full immunity and cleanse make enemy ace cooldowns whiff
  • Shadow servants stack just from casting — longer fights mean more damage and more healing
Weaknesses
  • Zero hard CC — no way to peel for allies or lock down fleeing enemies
  • Damage-over-time kit loses the healing race against instant burst
  • A skirmish specialist whose influence thins in full frontal teamfights
Early Game Strategy

Mi Yue hits her stride at level 1 with Skill 2. In the clash lane, tether the enemy laner: while linked you siphon their physical and magical attack while your chip damage and healing tick together — a one-sided trade. Holding the link for the full 4 seconds spawns an extra shadow servant, so pick fights early and build toward the six-servant cap. The chain snaps at range, though, so when they back off, don't chase — use Skill 1's recast movement to return to the wave safely.

Mid Game Strategy

Mid-game Mi Yue rules the side of the map by forcing 1v1s. From around 8 minutes, push the clash lane wave and welcome whichever fighter comes to answer with a Skill 2-led war of attrition. Even when their jungler makes it 2v1, the Ultimate's 2-second shadow form negates everything — eat their burst, come back out, and the turnaround is more realistic than it looks. Train the reflex: enemy assassin commits, then you press Ultimate, and you stop dying. Skip coin-flip Tyrant fights and take the tower they left behind instead.

Late Game Strategy

A straight 5v5 is still not your arena, so keep the side pressure up through the late game. With four items done, no single enemy stops you, and two enemies coming means numbers advantages everywhere else. When you do join Overlord or Shadow Tyrant fights, work the edge: tether their frontline with Skill 2 to drain attack damage, indirectly cutting what your team takes. Treat the Ultimate as a reactive dodge, not an escape — hold it until you see the enemy's big cooldown, then make it whiff.

Teamfight Strategy

Never enter from the front. Open from a flank by tethering their key fighter or marksman with Skill 2 — a drained enemy hits nowhere near their listed numbers, and 4 seconds of link restocks a servant. When heads turn your way, double-dash out with Skill 1; if they chase, answer with the Ultimate's immunity and let their skills hit nothing. With six servants up, Mi Yue heals back damage just by walking around, so dragging the fight out is itself the win condition.
