Counters & Synergies

Countered-by and synergy picks are this site's own reading, based on each hero's kit. What the official app publishes is how often heroes are picked together (see "Frequently Paired With" below); it does not publish any rating of how well they match up.

Frequently Paired With

3-hero team

The figures are the "match rate" published by the official in-game HoK Camp: how often these heroes ended up on the same team (fetched 2026-08-14). It is not a win rate, so a higher number does not mean a stronger pairing.

MarkDamageCooldown
Jing and her mirror image apply 2 different types of marks on enemies when they deal damage. If an enemy has both types of mark at the same time, the marks shatter, dealing physical damage equal to 4% of their lost Health and refreshing the Cooldown of Reflective Assault and Shattered Illusions. This effect has a cooldown of 5s (2s during the Ultimate).
The damage dealt and recovery provided by the mirror image is only 30% of her real body. The farther the image is from her real body, the greater the damage and recovery, up to 80% of the real body. The image only deals 10% of the real body's damage to towers.

Jing dashes in the target direction, dealing 200 (200 + 100% extra physical attack) physical damage to enemies in her path and slowing them by 15% for 1.5s.
Her next Basic Attack is enhanced to deal an extra strike of 50 (50 + 15% physical attack) physical damage.
If no mirror image is present on the battlefield, one will be created for 2s, which dashes with her and replicates all of her actions except the Ultimate.

Jing flies forward, pulling enemies along her path with her. When she stops, she opens a Mirror Vortex and immobilizes the enemies at its center for 1s. She and her mirror image then move to either side of the vortex's central axis. While the vortex is present, she recovers 17 (10 + 4% physical attack) Health for every 0.05s spent dashing with Dimensional Shift. She gains 1 charge of shift if she deals damage to an enemy. The Mirror Vortex lasts 10s, during which Jing gains 10% damage reduction, but it will disappear if she leaves before then.
When the vortex is formed, 8 mirror fragments are generated along its border. When Jing or her mirror image deal damage to an enemy, the nearest mirror fragment will fly at the enemy, dealing 30 + 2% of the target's lost Health physical damage.

Strategy Guide

Playstyle

An assassin who fights alongside her mirror image, marking targets from two directions and swapping positions mid-fight. Every swap breaks the enemy's aim — mastered, she feels uncatchable.

Best for: Players who enjoy imagining the enemy's screen and playing against it. Life and death hinge on the timing of a single swap.

Recommended Combos
Double Mark Reset
Skill 1 (Reflective Assault — dash, spawns a mirror image for 2s) → Empowered Basic Attack (extra 50 at Lvl 1) → Skill 2 (Shattered Illusions — nearby damage, 50% Movement Speed, heals on hit) → Skill 1 again after the reset

Jing and her image apply different mark types, and an enemy carrying both has them shatter for 4% of their lost Health. The shatter also refreshes Skill 1 and Skill 2, so the returned dash goes straight back in. It triggers once every 5s at most, or every 2s while Skill 4 is up, and the image hits harder the farther it stands from her.

Locked in the Vortex
Skill 4 (Mirror Domain — fly forward pulling enemies along, then immobilize those at the center for 1s) → layer marks with Skill 1 and Skill 2 → Skill 3 (Dimensional Shift — swap places with the image)

Skill 4 drags everyone in its path, then opens the Mirror Vortex and holds the enemies at its center for 1s. Eight mirror fragments ring the edge, and each time Jing or her image deals damage the nearest one flies in for 30 at Lvl 1 plus 2% of the target's lost Health. Inside the vortex every hit refunds a Dimensional Shift charge and damage taken drops by 10% at Lvl 1 — but the moment she steps outside, the vortex is gone.

These combos are not official data. They are this site's own write-up, built only from the skill data transcribed from the in-game display; nothing that the skill text does not state is included.

Strengths
  • Dual-mark cooldown resets multiply both tempo and burst
  • The missing-HP slash makes her a premier executioner of chipped targets
  • Skill 3's swap covers re-engage and escape in a single motion
  • On-hit healing from Skill 2 lets her brawl longer than she looks
Weaknesses
  • Damage falls off a cliff whenever marks fail to complete
  • The mirror image starts at 30% of her damage—keep it hugging her and output stalls
  • Paper durability; a predicted swap into crowd control is a death sentence
  • Mirror management piles on the workload and stretches the learning curve
Early Game Strategy

Jungle Jing lives or dies on understanding the mirror image. With no image on the field, casting Skill 1 or Skill 2 spawns one for 2s, and it replicates everything you do except Skill 4. Your body and the image apply two different types of mark, and when both sit on the same enemy the marks shatter. The shatter deals physical damage equal to 4% of the target's lost Health and refreshes the cooldowns of Skill 1 and Skill 2, once every 5s. Drill that reset rhythm on jungle camps first, then hit level 4 as fast as you can. For early ganks, Skill 1's dash and 1.5s slow to stop their feet, plus the mirror's overlapping damage to complete the marks, is already plenty of chip. Practicing clean reset patterns beats greedy invades.

Mid Game Strategy

From around 7 minutes, with your first physical core item finished, Jing's burst puts squishy targets inside one-combo range. Hunt lone enemies in their jungle or on the side lanes: enter with Skill 1, complete the marks with the mirror, take the reset, re-dash with the refreshed Skill 1—chain that loop and they never get a turn. Skill 2 hits everything around you and pushes your own Movement Speed up by 50%, diminishing over 1s. The heal is biggest on the first enemy struck, with each additional target adding 25% of that amount. Swing it once you are fully inside their space and you get the damage, the heal, and the speed to leave on. Before the 4-minute Tyrant and the 10-minute Shadow Tyrant, deleting the enemy support who comes for vision frees up your whole team.

Late Game Strategy

Late-game Jing is the flanking blade aimed at the enemy marksman's throat. With durability that folds in a few hits, diving the front of a 5v5 unplanned is suicide, so you spend long stretches waiting. Watch which target the enemy's point-and-click crowd control gets used on, then enter with Skill 1. Skill 3, Dimensional Shift, swaps you with your mirror image and covers both extending a kill and getting out. It stocks 1 charge every 10s and caps at 4. Even with a full hand, impose one rule on yourself—always keep one for the road home—and your deaths drop. Skill 4, Mirror Domain, flies forward pulling enemies along, then opens a Mirror Vortex at the stopping point and immobilizes whoever is at its center for 1s. Inside the vortex you also take reduced damage, so the dive comes with a layer of extra durability. Getting your swap read and answered with crowd control is the number one killer, so vary your swap timing every time.

Teamfight Strategy

Hold the perimeter until your tank draws the enemy's crowd control, then slide in the moment the backline's feet are exposed. Skill 1 into empowered basic attack into Skill 2 completes the marks; once they shatter and the reset lands, swap with your mirror using Skill 3 to make their counterattack whiff, then re-enter on the refreshed Skill 1—that in-and-out loop is the ideal form. Because the shatter scales off the target's lost Health, your execution speed climbs as the brawl wears on and health bars drop. While Skill 4 is active the shatter's cooldown falls from 5s to 2s, and inside the Mirror Vortex every hit you land stocks another charge of Skill 3. Every second spent hitting a full-HP tank is wasted, so keep your eyes locked on the softest target alive.
