Meta Analysis
[July 30 Update — Meta Analysis] Physical fighters and assassins are the story here. Zilong now leans far less on his passive stages, giving him consistent output in every situation. With an extra spear hit and a new Shock interaction between his ultimate and his other skills, following up on a hit is rewarded far more than landing one. Arthur can now cast Skill 1 with no target, effectively gaining a dash — his damage came down, so his role as an engage tank rather than a damage threat is clearer than ever. For Ao'yin, the decisive change is that his passive's sub-attribute damage can crit, which makes crit-and-attack-speed builds genuinely viable for the first time. On the other side, frontline-leaning heroes like Lian Po, Dun, and Zhuangzi lost shielding and damage. Zhuangzi in particular gave up half a second of CC immunity, making it much harder for him to carry a team's engage on his own. Expect the meta to tilt away from grinding out durable, time-buying compositions and toward mobile lineups that close games quickly.
