Meta Analysis
[May 28 Update — Meta Analysis] Ranged carries and melee fighters came out ahead here. Luban No.7 received a 40% increase to his passive base damage alongside broad cooldown reductions, and the same patch fixed a bug where that passive damage wasn't scaling with his level at all. Effectively, performance he had been missing was paid back all at once — and it landed hard enough that the buff was partially reversed on July 16. Dun gained damage on Skill 2 plus a shortened cast animation on Skill 3. That second change never shows up as a number, but a faster cast means fewer chances for opponents to react, so his practical hit rate improved. Han Xin took the nerf. Skill 1 lost roughly 29% of its base damage while gaining AD scaling, a change aimed squarely at his pre-item power. That undercuts the core job of a jungle assassin — turning early ganks into a lead. Overall, the patch nudges the meta away from assassins who snowball early and toward compositions that come online with items and win later.
